The Western North Cascade properties are located just off the Scenic North Cascades Highway near the town of Concrete, Washington. There are currently two, eighty-acre parcels available for purchase jointly or individually.
The properties have been exclusively maintained as a tree-farm, and are accessed by a jointly maintained gate, assuring privacy and a secure setting. Douglass Fir is the predominant tree species, with small patches of Red Alder scattered throughout. Each parcel has a forest management plan in addition to a projected volume and value timber analysis.
Each 80-acre parcel has split zoning under current Skagit County zoning regulations. The upper portions are zoned as Commercial Forest, while the lower portions are zoned as secondary forestry. Both parcels have excellent views of the Skagit River, surrounding foothills, and North Cascades. Elk are particularly prevalent throughout this area, in addition to black-tail deer. The Skagit River provides excellent fishing, and is just minutes away.
The eastern North Cascades property has much the same characteristics as the Western North Cascades property, but is exclusively zoned as secondary forestry, which provides for one home per twenty-acres. There is currently one, eighty-acre parcel available for purchase.
