Rice Lake Properties

Forested five-acre lots

The Rice Lake Properties are located in Jefferson County and Hood Canal, near the historic town of Quilcene, which is known around the world for their famous oysters and salmon fishing. Quilcene is located about 45 minutes from Kingston, and  Bainbridge Island.  A short ferry ride from Seattle or Edmonds, provides access to the beautiful Olympic Peninsula.

The quiet five-acre lots are forested with views of the Olympic Mountain Range and surrounding foothills.  Each lot has access to a private, 3-acre common area on Rice Lake, which is located down a quiet, gravel road approximately 1/4 mile from the lots.

The common area has access to the lake for small hand-carried, aluminum boats, but no formal launch has been developed at this point.  Rice lake is loaded with Largemouth Bass, trout, catfish and perch.  Although the lake is not formally stocked by Washington State Fish and Wildlife, their is an abundance of nice size fish, with limits easily caught. The bass fishing is truly amazing!

Leland Creek runs through the property on Lot 44, and is also a salmon spawning stream. A building site has been cleared, well outside of any potential flood-plane, yet has nice views of the creek.
