A) The properties are currently zoned as Commercial Forest Land.
Q) Can I build a residence on the property?
A) No, the Commercial Forestry zone in Whatcom County does not allow for the construction of individual residences. Section 20.43 of the Whatcom County Code does provide for temprary occupancy of the property by a recreational vehicle (120 days per maximum calendar year).
