Merrill & Ring is a privately-owned forestry company headquartered on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. The company partners hold 75,000 acres of productive timberland in western Washington, British Columbia and New Zealand. Partner owners include Merrill & Ring Forestry L.P. in Canada, R.D. Merrill Company, Ring Family L.P., JLCG LLC, and Merrill & Ring Pysht Properties LLC in the U.S, and Merrill & Ring New Zealand Ltd. in New Zealand. International log marketing is managed by Merrill & Ring Forest Products L.P. The Merrill & Ring families established the company in 1888 with the purchase of the Pysht Tree Farm, which is now the oldest tree farm in Washington State still operated by its original owners.
Being here for over 100 years has given Merrill & Ring a long-term perspective. We recognize from the practical experiences of growing new forests that the things we do today shape our future. That future will be as productive as our stewardship of the many resources we manage and that we all rely on.
Our hope is that visitors to the Merrill & Ring web site will gain a greater understanding not only of Merrill & Ring, but of the forest industry as well. We invite you to learn about the work and services we provide. Please use the Contact page to tell us what you think. Thank you for visiting.
